Update on baby taken from adoptive parents at Christmas

After 8 long & difficult months sweet baby Nicholas is coming home today! In case you don't know the story, Nicholas was adopted by my friends in June of 2008 when he was 6 months old. At Christmas they had to hand him over to his biological great grandparents because they decided that they wanted him despite the fact the both parents had signed over their parental rights. A GEM needs your vote for Honorary Bat Girl!!!

Major League Baseball will honor one breast cancer survivor for each team on Mother's Day by picking one to be an honorary bat girl. I need your vote for the Braves!!! Simple go to www.mlb.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page. You should see a pick ribbon, click on that. When you get to the "vote for a story" you can sort by team so choose Braves and vote for MrsF.

Stupid people make me really mad!!

There is a family in our church that is in the process of adopting a beautiful baby boy (he's just a little over a year old). They have had him for a couple of months now and long story short the biological grandparents want him now that their son is out of jail. A friend of mine is a very talented writer and she wrote this today. I thought you GEM's would like to read it. WARNING...get your tissues now!

I just wanna puke!!!

Sorry to be so graphic but I feel terrible! Being the GEM that I am I've been busy this week with my baby's birthday and ran out of one of my medications. I've gone two days without it. Here's the kicker...this is one of those meds that if you don't take it you get very ill!!! My tummy has been funny all day and now I just wanna throw-up and I can't!!! I did get my meds tonight and my pharmacist friend told me to go ahead and take one as soon as I got home and to get back on schedule in the morn… Continue
